Death and bananas

Seeing this little thing spin in the favorites of someone else really caught my eye.

First and foremost, the .gif idea was brilliant! It adds another dimension to the piece. Being able to see it from all angles, it tells you something that you can't quiet make out, but you hear it.
The "Blood" splatter isn't too overdone and adds to the entire ensemble. The lighting adds a bit of a spooky atmosphere as you had wanted to achieve.

My main issue with the piece is the camera shake. Personally I would have used a Tripod while taking the photos. It would add a particular stillness to the piece and would probably add a little more to the entire thing.

Vision: 4/5 Definitely a great idea, just not achieved perfectly.
Originality: 5/5 This is a refreshing piece, great job on the idea.
Technique: 3 1/2 The camera shake detracts half a star in my book, but otherwise the technique was solid. Excellent use of lighting to instill a spooky atmosphere.
Impact: 4/5 It gives off that spooky vibe and I'll be telling all my friends tomorrow.
